Ohio recycler receives state grant

Ohio Mattress Recovery & Recycling in Garfield, Ohio, has been awarded a $75,000 grant from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, enabling it to continue recycling mattresses.

“We will continue to be a turnkey recycler in which we will pick up, transport and deconstruct mattresses from colleges, universities, hotels, motels, resorts, casinos and municipalities anywhere in the country,” said Chuck Brickman, Ohio Mattress Recovery & Recycling president.

The company was sponsored for the grant by the city of Cleveland, according to a news release.
